“Unboxing” is a collection of acrylic on canvas portraits createdfor the Holy Art fair. The collection reflects the confused mindset of young adults in their 20s who find themselves standing at a crossroads, torn between expectations and aspirations, holding on and letting go, fear and fierceness: universal conflicts we all experience somehow in our own unique ways. Through “Unboxing”, I explore and attempt to illustrate this crucial period of life, a turning point where we find the right balance between our inner child and our desire to break free from it. It is a journey between the familiar and the uncharted, innocence and indecency, morality and madness. Each piece reflects on the choices that define our identity as we learn to reconcile contradictions and embrace the contrasts of life.
