“How Not to Sit on a Chair” is a series of 22 100x70cm prints showcasing digital drawings commissioned by “Hotel Marmont”, Geneva, 2023.
Those drawings bring together the human, the animal and the inanimate, showing how everything is connected and often comes together in surprising ways, questioning fate and chance. Each drawing portrays a room without any contextual clues. Elements converge to capture a fleeting moment in life, a random and utterly unique snapshot. The elements used across the 22 scenes are consistent and repetitive; yet each scene tells its own specific story. “How Not to Sit on a Chair” explores the butterfly effect; how moments come into existence, how decisions and opportunities lead to them, reflecting on the beauty of chaos.
